Welcome to My Research Website
I am ENRIQUÉ DEBRABANT, a PhD student at the Denis Poisson Institute, University of Tours, specializing in Epidemiology and Mathematical Modeling of Infectious Systems. My work focuses on developing multi-strain SIS models with mutation to better understand disease spread and the evolution of infectious agents.
I am conducting my doctoral research under the supervision of PIERRE GABRIEL and Sten Madec.
Research Domain
My doctoral project combines dynamic systems theory with real-world epidemiological data analysis. The goal is to create robust predictive models to simulate different disease control and prevention strategies.
Main topics:
- Multi-strain epidemiological modeling
- Impact of mutations on epidemic dynamics
- Evaluation of control measures (vaccination, social interventions)
Skills
- Mathematical and statistical modeling (SIS, SIR, etc.)
- Data analysis and scientific programming (Python, Sagemath)
- Numerical simulations and multi-agent modeling
- Scientific writing and results communication
